RESOLUTION NO. 5777
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, on the 18th day of
September, 1944, purchased property located in said City, known
as "Bay Shore Golf Course Property" ; and
WHEREAS, at the time of said purchase, said property was
encumbered by a lease to the United States of America, as Lessee,
which said lease has been duly assigned by the Lessors thereunder
to the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, it appears advisable to enter into a supplemental
agreement so as to provide that the name of the City of Miami
Beach shall be deemed inserted in said lease wherever reference
is made therein to the Lessor, and so that the rent payable under
said lease shall be payable to the City of Miami Beach; and
WHEREAS, a form of such supplemental agreement has been pre-
pared and submitted to the City Council,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Acting Mayor be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to execute, for and on behalf of
said City, the original and six copies of said supplemental agree-
ment.
