WHEREAS, NORMANDY HOMES, INCORPORATED, has offered
to the City of Miami Beach, for the sum of Ten (0_0.00) Dollars,
an option to purchase the following described lands, situate,
lying and being in the County of Dade and State of Florida, des-
cribed as follows , to-wit :
Lots One ( 1) , Two (2) , Three (3) ,
Four (4) , Five (5) and Six (6) of
Block Three (3) of ALTOS DEL MAR
NO. 1, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 31, at page 40,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, together with all rights ap-
purtenant thereto,
copy of which said proposed option is hereto attached; and
WHEREAS, it is deemed to be to the best interest of the
City of Miami Beach to accept the said offer and to acquire the
said option,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY TEE CITY COUNCIL of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said offer be and the same
is hereby accepted and the City Manager and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to acquire the said option
by the payment to Normandy Homes, Incorporated, for and on behalf
of said City, of the sum of Ten (410.00) Dollars, from funds of
said City available for such purpose.

THIS AGREEMENT MADE and entered into this day of
December, A. D. 1944, by and between NORMANDY HOMES, INCORPORATED,
a Florida Corporation, hereinafter referred to as "Optionor" , and
CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, a Municipal Corporation of the State of Flo-
rida, hereinafter referred to as "Optionee".
WI TN E S SETH :
Whereas, the Optionor holds a contract for the purchase
of and is in a position to convey the fee simple title to the
hereinafter described lands; and
Whereas, the Optionee is desirous of, obtaining an option
to purchase said lands,
NOW, THEREFORE, the Optionor, for and in consideration
of the sum of Ten ( $10.00) Dollars in hand paid by the Optionee ,
has granted, bargained, sold and conveyed, and by these presents
does grant, bargain, sell and convey unto the Optionee, an option
or right to purchase, on or before February 13th, A. D. 1945, the
following described property, situate, lying and being in Dade
County, Florida, to-wit :
Lots One ( 1) , Two ( 2) , Three ( 3) ,
Four ( 4) , Five ( 5) and Six ( 6) of
Block Three ( 3) of ALTOS DEL MAR
No. 1 , according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 31, at page
40, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, together with all
rights appurtenant thereto.
It is distinctly understood end agreed that if this
option shall be exercised, the total purchase price that shall
be paid for the above-described property, is the sum of Eighty-
nine thousand, four hundred seventy-three and no/100 ($89,473. 00)
Dollars cash, for which the Optionor shall execute and deliver,
or cause to be executed and delivered, to the Optionee, a good
and sufficient warranty deed of conveyance subject only to restric-
tions of record, and to taxes for the year 1945.
The option and right to purchase granted hereby shall
be exercised by delivering a notice, in writing, addressed to the
Optionor at 1460 Normandy Drive, Miami Beach, Florida, stating

that the Optionee desires to avail itself of said option.
It is understood and agreed that in the event that said
option is exercised, then and in such event, the Optionor shall ,
within fifteen ( 15) days from having received notice as herein-
before provided, cause the abstract of title to be brought to
date and delivered to the Optionee, showing good and marketable
title to be vested in the Optionor.
IN 'WITNESg WHEREOF, the said Optionor has caused these
presents to be signed by its duly authorized officers, and its
corporate seal to be hereto affixed this day of December,
A. D. 1944.
