Resolution 5785 RESOLUTION NO. 5785 WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is considering the amending and changing certain of the regulations, restrictions and/or boundaries as established in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of Miami Beach, Florida" , as hereinafter set forth, to-wit: To amend said ordinance so as to exclude from "RA" Estate District and Area District No. 3, and to include in "RE" Multiple- Family District and in Area District No. 8, as said districts are therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to- wit : o- wit : Lot 1 of FLAMINGO BAY SUBDIVISION #1, according to the Plat thereof, record- ed in Plat Book 6, at page 101, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RC" Estate District and to include in "RE" Multiple-Family District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : Lot 29 of Block 3 of FLAMINGO TERRACE SUBDIVISION, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 10, at page 3, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said ordinance so as to exclude from "RE" Multiple- Family District and Area DistrictoNo. 12 and No. 16, and to include in "BAA" Business District and Area District No. 19, as said districts are therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : Lots 1, 2, 3, 18, 19 and 20 of Block 29, and Lots 7, 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Block 55; all in FISHERZS FIRST SUBDIVISION OF ALTON BEACH, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, at Page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RD" Estate District and Area District No. 10, and to include in "BAA" Business District and Area District No. 19, as said districts are therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit: Lot 45 of Block 8 of NAUTILUS ADDITION, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 8, at page 130, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. -2- 1 To amend said ordinance so as to exclude from "RE" Multiple- Family District and Area District No. 10, and to include in "BAA" Business District and Area District No. 19, as said districts are therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : Lot 29 of Block 2 of GARDEN SUBDIVISION, according to the Amended Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 31, at page 9, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RD" Estate District, and to include in "RE" Multiple-Family District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : Lots 6 to 19, inclusive, of Block 39, of MIAMI VIEW SECTION, Part 1, of ISLE OF NORMANDY, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Flat Book 34+, at Page 80, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "BB" Business District, and to include in "BE" Business District, as said dis- trict is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : All that portion of the C. H. LUM property lying West of the West Line of Jefferson Avenue, extended Southerly, as shown on the Plat of South Beach Park, recorded in Plat Book 6, at page 77, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to include in "BF" Business District , as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit: All of HARBOR TERMINAL ISLAND, commonly known as "FISHER'S ISLAND" , except the Government Reservation, located thereon. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RDD" Modified Single-Family District, and to include in "RE" Multiple-Family District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : All of LENOX MANOR, a Subdivision according to the Plat thereof, -3_ recorded in Plat Book 7, at page 15, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RE" Multiple- Family District, and to include in "RD" Estate District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : All of Tracts 3, 4 and 5; Tract 7, less that portion thereof lying opposite Tract 6; Tract 8, less that portion thereof extending 955.69 feet Northwesterly from Normandy Waterway; All of Tracts 9, 10, 11 and 12; All as shown on the Plat of NORTH ISLE OF NORMANDY, recorded in Plat Book 40, at page 36, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "BB" Business District and Area Districts No. 13 and No. 19, and to include in "RD" Estate District and Area District No. 10, as said districts are therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit: All of Blocks 11 and 12 of BISCAYNE POINT, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 14, at page 35, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RDE" Restricted Multiple-Family District, and to include in "RD" Single-Family Dis- trict, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the follow- ing described property, to-wit : Lots 1 to 17, inclusive, of Block 5, of SUNSET LAKE EXTENSION, a subdivision according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 40, at page 23, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RB" Estate District and to include in "RC" Estate District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit : Lot 5 of Block 31 of LAKE VIEW SUB- DIVISION, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 14, at page 42, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. -4- I To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from "RD" Estate District, and to include in "RE" Multiple-Family District, as said district is therein set forth and defined, the following described property, to-wit: Lot 32 of Block 2 of NURSERY SUBDI- VISION, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 23, at page 66, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. To amend said Ordinance so as to exclude from Area District No. 19, and to include in Area District 18, as said District is therein set forth and defined, the following described property to-wit : Lots 1 and 2 of Block "C" ; Lots 1 and 7 of Block "D" ; Lots 1 and 2 of Block 2 ; Lot 1 of Block 3 ; the East 60 feet of "Wireless Station" property in Block 3 ; the East 60 feet of Lot 12, Block 3; the East 60 feet of that portion of Block 3 lying North of said Lot 12 ; all in Miami Beach Improvement Company' s OCEAN FRONT PROPERTY, according to the Plat thereof , recorded in Plat Book 5, at pages 7 and 8, of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and the same is hereby called to be held on the 27th day of February, A.D. 1945, at 2:00 o'clock P.M. , in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the purpose of considering the amendments above set forth.
