Resolution 5791 RESOLUTION NO. 5791
WHEREAS, our esteemed pioneer citizen, Robert Post
Clark, passed to his reward on March 4th, 1945, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Clark, as one of our early engineers and
developers did much toward the construction of Miami Beach
in its formative years, and
WHEREAS, Mr. Clark was always of upright character,
fair and honorable in his dealings with his fellow men,
and in his passing our City has lost a beloved citizen,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we do hereby
express our heartfelt sympathy and that of our citizens
to the widow and family of the late Robert Post Clark,
and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that a copy of this resolution
be spread upon the minutes of this meeting of the City
Council and also that a copy be given to his widow and
family.
PASSED and ADOPTED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, on this the 6th day of March,
A. D. 1945.
