Resolution 5813 RESOLUTION NO. 5813
BE IT RESOLVLD by the City Council of the City of Lriami Beach,
Florida, that it is deemed to be to the best interest of said
City to secure the passage, at the 1945 Session of the State Legis-
lature,
of a bill entitled:
"AN ACT TO AUTHORIZE AND EMPOWER THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, TO AC ,UIRE AND
THEREAFTER On, OPERATE, ADD TO, EXTEND AND
IMPROVE A MUNICIPAL GAS WORKS AND TRANSMIS-
SION AND DISTRIBUTION SYSTEM IN AND SURROUN-
DING SAID CITY AND IN CONNECTION THEREWIT3:
TO ISSUE GAS REVENUE CERTIFICATES PAYABLE
SOLELY FROM THE REVENUES OF SAID WORKS AND
SYSTEM AND TO VALIDATE ALL PROCEEDINGS AND
ACTION HERETOFORE HAD OR TAKEN WITH RESPECT
THERETO. "
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that copies of this Resolution and
of said Bill be furnished to the Honorable D. C. Coleman, the
Honorable C. uu. Peters, the Honorable George Okell, and the
Honorable Richard Oelkers, :,embers of the Plcrida Legislature from
Dade County, and that they each be respectfully requested to see
that said Bill be introduced and passed at said Session.
