Resolution 5824 RESOLUTION NO. 5$24 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF TFE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, APPOINTING AND DESIGNATING CLERKS AND INSPECTORS FOR THE ELECTION TO BE HELD ON JUNE 5, 1945 WHEREAS, for the purpose of holding and conducting the General Election to be held on June 5, 1945, the City has been divided into nine voting precincts or election districts, numbered 24 to 32, inclusive, the boundaries of said precincts or districts having been officially described in Resolution No. 5818 as passed and adopted by the City Council on May 2nd, 1945; and WHEREAS, official notice of said election is being published pursuant to the provisions of Resolution No. 5818, passed and adopt- ed by the City Council on May 2nd, 1945, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA: SECTION 1. That for the purpose of holding and conducting the said General Election on June 5, 1945, nine election boards be pro- vided, the registration books of said City be divided into nine parts corresponding to the voting precincts or election districts as here- tofore designated, and that for said. purpose Clerks and Inspectors be and they are hereby appointed and designated as follows: PRECINCT NO. 24: Clerk: Boyd R. That notice of the foregoing appointments be given by publishing in The Miami Beach Sun and Miami Beach Daily Tropics, a newspaper published in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, at least fifteen days before the day of the holding of said election.
