Resolution 5833 RESOLUTION NO. 5833
WHEREAS, Morris N. Lipp, City Engineer of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, is now in the Army of the United States
of America, on leave heretofore granted by said City; and
WHEREAS, all of the members of the City Engineering
Department who have had technical training are now in the
Armed Services ; and
WHEREAS, extensive municipal improvements are immediately
necessary for the preservation of the health and welfare of the
citizens of Miami Beach and said program will provide work for
returning veterans ,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
_ _the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that City Engineer, MORRIS N.
LIPP, be and he is hereby requested to apply for inactive duty
with the Army in order that he may return to service with said
City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 6th day of June, A. D. 1945.
