;'YiR<�AS, United States of America has requested a lease
from the City of Miami Beach, as Lessor, covering the followi.nJ
described premises situate, lying and being in the City of Miami
Beach, County of Dade, and State of :Florida, to-wit :
That portion of Lots 43 to 5u included in
Block 111 of Amended Plat of said Lots in
Ocean Beach Addition -3, in the City of
Miami Beach, County of Dade, State of plo-
rid.a, as shown on plat recorded in Book 14,
page 70, of the Public Records of said Dade
County and the boat slips and docks adjacent
thereto known as Chamber of Commerce Docks ,
:more particularly described as follows :
Boat slips numbers 5, 5 and 7, with a total
width of 45 feet fronting on the Public Dock
adjacent thereto; also the dockage and moor-
ing rights on that portion of the sea wall on
the West end of said Lots described as follows :
Beginning at a point 120 feet South of the
intersection of the Nest line of said lots and
the South line of the Public Dock projected
Easterly; running tfience in a Southerly di-
rection along the sea wall adjacent to Bis-
cayne Bay, a distance of 137 feet , as shown
by plat attached to lease;
at a monthly rental of Eighty-two and fifty one-hundredths (,,;82. 50)
Dollars ; and
W i'EREAS, said United States of America has submitted a form of
said lease with which the City Council is familiar,
BEa IT 'RSSCLV by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed for andon behalf of and
in the name of said City of Miami Beach to execute the lease above
referred to and described, provided, however, that there be deleted
therefrom that portion of paragraph 5 thereof, reading as follows :
''except to desirable tenants" .
