Resolution 5889 RESOLUTION NO. 5889
WHERIAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending and changing certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in Ordinance
No. 289, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of
Miami Beach, as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
To amend said ordinance and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof so as to place in "BAA" Business District
the following described property situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Florida, to-wit :
Lots 33 to 38, inclusive, of Block 2,
of NURSERY SUBDIVISION, according to
the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
23, at page 66, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida;
Lots 1 to 14, inclusive, of Block 11,
and Lots 1 to 18, inclusive, of Block
4, of ORCHARD SUBDIVISION NO. 4, ac-
cording to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 25, at page 30, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
That part of Lot 19, Block 8, of FIRST
ADDITION TO MID-GOLF SUBDIVISION, ac-
cording to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 7, at page 161, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
lyi North of that certain twenty foot
(20') alley heretofore conveyed to the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, by deed
recorded in Deed Book 1618, at page 278,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida;
Lots 1 to 9, inclusive, of FORTY FIRST
STREET BLOCK, according to the Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 40, at page 47, of
the Public Records of Dade County, Florida;
Lots 3 to 9, inclusive, of. Block 55, and
Lots 4 to 13, inclusive, of Block 54, in
ORCHARD SUBDIVISIONS NO. 2 and 3, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
8, at page 116, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby
called to beheld on the 19th day of December, A. D. 1945, at 10:00
o' clock, A. Y. , in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, Miami
Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he
is hereby directed to give at least fifteen ( 15) days ' notice
of the time, place and object of said hearing by publishing
notice thereof in the Miami. Beach Sun and Miami Beach Daily
Tropics, a newspaper of general circulation in said City of
Miami Beach in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289
of said City.
