1675-24 Ritz-Carlton AOL.COM I Message View Page 1 of 1 Subj: Miami Beach book Date: 6/7/2004 7:09:19 PM Eastern Daylight Time From: HKMiami To: dieo@lionstone.net, martin@lionstone.net Thank you so much for the time and courtesies extended me today. It is much appreciated. I looked in the 1926 City Directory to see what was in your area and found that Carl Fisher' s house was listed as being on 1616 Ocean Drive, across from your hotel. Nothing was listed as being on Lincoln Road until the 300 block. Nothing appears in the 1838 city directory either. In 1947, the Young Men' s and Women' s Hebrew Association appears on the Fisher site but with an address of 1 Lincoln Road. In 1953, the Town and Beach Club appears as being at 5 Lincoln Road which would be your side of the street. On another matter, I cannot recall the first name you gave me for the artist Segui but I checked my paintings and they are signed by Pedro Segui . I don't think that is the first name you mentioned. Alas, I may not have a winner. • Martin, my email address is hkmiami@aol.com Howard Kleinberg http://webmail.aol.com/fmsgview.adp?folder=TIVUQk9Y&uid=8629325 6/7/2004
