Resolution 5916 RESOLUTION NO. 5916
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach, as Lessor, and the
United States of America, as Lessee, did heretofore enter into
a lease covering:
That portion of Flamingo Park descrioed
as follows :
Beginning at the Southwest corner of
Lot 5, Block 70 of the LINCOLN ROAD
SUBDIVISION, in the City of Miami Beach,
County of Dade, State of Florida, ac-
cording to plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 9, page 69, of the Public Records
of said Dade County; thence running South
a distance of 195.7 feet ; thence easterly
a distance of 340.2 feet ; thence northerly
a distance of 195.7'; thence westerly a dis-
tance of 340.2 feet to the point or place of
beginning; which lease was amended by
Supplemental Agreement No. 1, providing for
automatic renewal without notice,
said lease being known as Lease W-2287-ENG-1182; and
WHEREAS, the United States of America has re-delivered
possession of said property to the City, in good condition, and
said lease has been terminated; and
WHEREAS, a form of release has been prepared and submitted
to the City Council by the terms of which the United States of
America is released from all claims and liability in connection
with, or arising out of, said lease,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor and the City Clerk be and
they are hereby authorized and directed to execute and deliver in
the name of and in behalf of said City, the release hereinbefore
referred to and described.
