A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A
DUPLICATE TAX SAIL CERTIFICATE.
WHEREAS, it has been made to appear to the City Council
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a certain tax sale
certificate issued by the City of Miami Beach to Covington Trust
and Banking Company, in the face amount of •,657.96, dated June
3rd, 1929, bearing No. 440, covering delinquent taxes for the
year 1928, against the following described property, situate
in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit :
The North 155 feet of Lot 8, Block 15,
ISLAND VIEW SUBDIVISION, according to the
Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 6
at page 115 of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida,
has been lost or destroyed; and
WHEREAS, Renuart Lumber Yards, Inc. , a Florida Corporation,
the assignee of said tax sale certificate has applied for the
issuance of a duplicate thereof,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby authorized to issue a duplicate of said tax sale certifi-
cate in the name of Renuart Lumber Yards, Inc . , upon the filing
with the City Clerk of a bond in the sum of tj*1,316.00, duly exe-
cuted by D. V. Fenuart of Dade County, Florida, but with no other
sureties, said bond to indemnify the City of Miami Beach against
all loss or damage which may be sustained by reason of the issuance
of said duplicate certificate.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 16thday of January, A. D. 1946.
