Resolution 6115 7 RESOLUTION NO. 6115 TO ROBERT B. LOVELAND WHEREAS, it is essential to good government that the Police Department of a city be made up of men of proven character and ability; and WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has been fortunate in obtaining and holding for long periods a number of Police Officers who have contributed much towards the government of our city by the strict and impartial enforcement of its laws; and WHEREAS, one of these outstanding Police Officers, Robert B. Loveland, will on September 22, 1946, complete twenty years of service, and during this time has always handled his duties with much competence, courtesy and conscientious attention to the demands of his position; and WHEREAS, Officer Loveland,for many years traffic officer at the corner of Washington Avenue and Fourteenth Street, has safely conducted many thousands of school children across these busy traffic arteries, without the occurrence of a single accid- ent; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City of Miami Beach, that we do hereby congratulate Officer Loveland upon the twentieth anniversary of his employment with the City of Miami Beach, and we do further acknowledge the high regard in which we hold him for the unselfish and commendable manner in which he has always performed his duties as a Police Officer, and we further proclaim our respect and confidence in his loyalty in continued service with the city. PASSED and ADOPTED this 18th day of September, A.
