TO
D. C. KENNETT
WHEREAS, it is of vital importance to any municipality that
it have an efficient and alert Fire Department; and
WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach is exceedingly fortunate in
having a most competent Fire Chief in the person of Mr. D. C.
Kennett, who has grown up with our City and developed as our City
has developed; and
WHEREAS, Fire Chief Kennett has through his untiring efforts
and conscientious attention to duty been an important factor in
bringing about the low fire rate in our City during the past years ;
and
WHEREAS, on September 19th, 191+6, Fire Chief Kennett will
complete his twentieth year of continuous service with the Fire
Department of the City of Miami Beach;
Council of the City
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City/of Miami Beach,
Florida, that we do hereby congratulate Fire Chief Kennett upon
the twentieth anniversary of his employment with the City of
Miami Beach, and we do further acknowledge the high regard and
esteem in which we hold him for the unselfish and conscientious
service which he has always rendered during his long association
with the City, and we wish for him many more happy years of
service.
