HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA :
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter :
H-292 Harding Avenue from Seventy-First (71st) Street to
Seventy-Second (72nd) Street to be paved and where
heretofore paved to be repaved to a width of thirty-
nine feet (39 ' ) with a bituminous wearing surface on
a ten inch (10") rock base.
Together with necessary drainage , sewer inlets and
catch basins , and improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and gutter.
As said Harding Avenue and Seventy-first (71st) Street
are shown on Plat recorded in Plat Book Twenty-One (21) ,
Page Fifty-four (54) of the Public t ecords of Dade
County, Florida; and as said Seventy-second (72nd)
Street is described and named in Resolution No. 6111
passed and adopted by the Miami Beach City Council
September 18, 1946.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of Plans and Specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings , assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-292 , and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District H-292.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS LLL DAY OF October A.D. 1946.
