Resolution 6154-v \ RESOLUTION NO. 6151+ WHEREAS, the City of Miami Beach has heretofore procured an option agreement for the purchase of certain property situate, lying and being in said City, described as follows, to-wit : Lots 21 to 29, inclusive, of Block 30, Miami View Section, Part One, ISLE OF NORMANDY, according to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 34, at page 80, of the Public Records of Dade County, Flo- rida, together with all rights appurtenant thereto, and WHEREAS, said option agreement provided that written notice of the exercise of the option granted thereby should be given to Irving Woloson and Rose Woloson, his wife, at 5 Northridge Street, Patchogue, Long Island, New York, or their agent , George P. Jacobs, 1953 Everglades Concourse, Miami Beach, Florida, and WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, deems it to the best interest of said City to exercise said option to purchase, which said option provides for a total purchase price of $40,000.00 cash, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that said option to purchase be and the same is hereby exercised and that the City Clerk be and he is hereby authorized and directed to serve written notice of the exer- cise of said option, for and on behalf of said City, as in said option agreement provided. BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that, subject to the approval of the City Attorney, the City Manager be and he is hereby author;zed and directed to consummate, for and on behalf of said City, the purchase of said property on said terms and that the City Manager and the City Clerk be and they are hereby authorized and directed to make the payments required by said agreement out of the funds of said City available for said purpose.
