Resolution 6191 RESOLUTION NO. 6191
BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Miami Beach, Florida, that :
WHEREAS, on to-wit : the 14th day of November, 1946,
the Miami Beach News Bureau, a Department of the Municipal Government
of Miami Beach, distributed a news release and a photograph of one
Louise Osius, pertaining to litigation over Miami Beach property,
which, the City Council is informed, resulted in divers newspapers
publishing the photograph and certain baseless and derogatory news-
paper articles concerning N. B. T. Roney and his daughter, Mrs. Betty
Roney Fitzpatrick,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, that we do hereby disclaim and dis-
avow any intent or implication to censure or criticise, by the afore-
said action of the Miami Beach News Bureau, either Mr. Roney or his
said daughter.
