HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-302 Ocean Court from Biscayne Street to Fourteenth
( 14th) Lane, to be paved, and where heretofore
paved to be repaved to a width of twenty (20)
feet with a bituminous wearing surface on a ten
(10) inch rock base, and improved in the center '
with a concrete gutter, together with necessary
drainage, sewer inlets, manholes and catch basins.
As said Court, Street and Lane are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page Thirty-eight
(38) , Plat Book Four (4) , Page Eighty-three , Plat Book
Three (3) , Page Eleven (11) , Plat Book Two (2), Page
Fifty-six (56) of the Public Records of t)ade County,
Florida, and as said Biscayne Street and Fourteenth
(14th) Lane are named and designated in Ordinance No.
232, and as said Ocean Court is named and designated
by the City Council in Minute Book Thirteen (13),
Page Fifty-two (52) .
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conduct-
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-302, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District H-302.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 11 th DAY OF February, A.D.1947.
