RESOLUTION NO. 6202
HIGHWAY IMPROVa:ENT DISTRICT
H-303 H-303
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-303 Michigan Avenue from Sixth (6th) Street
to Eleventh ( 11th) Street to be paved, and
where heretofore paved, to be repaved to
a width of fifty (50) feet with a bituminous
wearing surface on a ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Michigan Avenue and Streets are shown
on plats recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , page
Eighty-one (81) and Plat Book Seven (7) , page
Fifteen ( 15) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Avenue is named
and designated in Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superinten-
dence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal ser-
vices, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abut-
ting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-303, and the property against which .
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-303.
