Resolution 6343 RESOLUTION NO. 63'+3
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, is
considering amending and changing certain of the regulations and restrictions
established and contained in Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the
"Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida", as hereinafter
set forth, to-wit:
To amend said ordinance and the maps attached thereto and made a part
thereof so as to include in "RE" Multiple Family district and in Area Dis-
trict No. 15, as said districts are in said ordinance set forth and defined
the following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Block 1; Lots 1 to 10 inclusive of
Block 28; Lots 4 to 10 inclusive of Block 29; Lots 1 to 6
inclusive of Block 55; Lots 1 to lb inclusive of Block 56;
All in Fisher's First Subdivision of Alton Beach, according
to plat thereof recorded in Plat Book 2, page 77 of the Public
Records of Dade County, Florida.
And Also
All the lands lying between the Easterly line of said lots and
the bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean.
And Also
The land bounded on the west by the easterly line of said Block
One (1) produced Southerly; on the North by the northerly line
of 18th Street produced easterly; on the East by the bulkhead
line of the Atlantic Ocean; on the South by the southerly line
of 18th Street produced Easterly;
And Also
The land bounded on the west by the easterly line of said Block
28 produced southerly; on the north by the northerly line of
17th Street produced easterly; on the east by the bulkhead line
of the Atlantic `ocean; on the South by the southerly line of
17th Street produced easterly;
and also
The land bounded on the west by the easterly line of said Block
55 produced southerly; on the north by the northerly line of
16th Street produced easterly; on the East by the bulkhead line
of the Atlantic Ocean; on the south by the southerly line of
16th Street produced easterly,
and to amend said Ordinance and the maps attached thereto and made a part
thereof so as to include in "BAA" Business district and in Area District
No. 19, as said districts are in said ordinance set forth and defincd,
the following described lands, situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Florida, to-wit:
Lots 1, 2 and 3 of Block 29 and Lots 7, 8 and 9 of Block 55, all
in said Fisher ' s First Subdivision of Alton Beach,
and also
All the lands lying between the easterly line of said lots and
the bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean,
and also

The land bounded on the west by the easterly line of said
Block 29 produced southerly; on the north by the northerly
line of Lincoln Road produced easterly; on the East by the
bulkhead line of the Atlantic Ocean; on the south by the
southerly line of Lincoln Road produced easterly.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Miami
Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby called to be held
on the 6th day of August, 1947, at 10:00 o' clock A. M. , in the Council
Chambers, in the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration
of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby directed
to give at least fifteen days notice of the time, place and object of
said hearing by publishing notice thereof in The Evening Sun and Daily
Tropics, a newspaper of general circulation in said City of Miami Beach,
Florida, in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
