Resolution 6230 RESOLUTION NO. 6230
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
is considering amending and changing certain of the regulations and.
restrictions established and contained in Ordinance No. 289, common-
3,y known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach, Florida",
as hereinafter set forth, to-wit :
To amend said Ordinance and the maps attached thereto and
made a part thereof, so as to exclude from the "BB" Business District
and to include in the "BC" Business District, as said Districts
are in said Ordinance set forth and defined, the following described
lands situate, lying and being: in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida,
to-wit :
Lots 6 to 11, inclusive, of McGuires Subdivision,
according to Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book
6, page 83, of the Public Records of Dade County;
Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, of Witham' s Re-subdivision
of Lots 10, 11 and 12 of Block 83, Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 9, page 10, of said Public Records;
Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, and Lots 17 to 23, inclusive,
of Aquarium Site Resubdivis ion, according to Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 21, page 83, of said
Public Records ;
Lots 1 to 6, inclusive, of Geo. W. Mussett ' s Re-
subdivision of Lots 9, 10, 11 and 12 of Block 99 of
Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according to Plat thereof,
recorded in Plat Book 38, page 69, of said Public
Records;
Lots 9 to 12, inclusive, of Block 74; Lots 5 to 12,
inclusive, of Block 84; Lots 5 and 12 of Block 98;
Lots 5 to 12, inclusive, of Block 104; Lots 10 to
12, inclusive, of Block 75; Lots 1 to 3, inclusive,
of Block 83; Lots 1 to 3, inclusive, of Block 99;
Lots 1 to 3, inclusive, and Lots 7 and 8, of Block
103; All in Ocean Beach Addition No. 3, according
to Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2, page 81,
of said Public Records .
And so as to exclude from "BA" Business District and to include
in "BB" Business District, as said Districts are in said Ordinance
set forth and defined, the following described lands situate, lying
and being in Miami Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit :

Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, of Block "B" ; and
Lots 1 to 5, inclusive, of Block "C" ; All
in Tatum' s Re-subdivision of part of Blocks
48, 56 and 75 of Ocean Beach Addition No. 3,
according to Plat thereof, recorded in Plat
Book 21, page 26, of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida;
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Block 2, and
Lots 4 to 9, inclusive, of Block 3, of
Friedman and Cope Subdivision, according
to Flat thereof, recorded in Plat Bcok 4,
page 83, of said Public Records;
Lots 1 to 4, inclusive, of Witham' s Re-subdivision
of Lots 11 and 12 of Block 56 of Ocean Beach Addi-
tion No. 3, according to Plat thereof, recorded in
Plat Book 9, page 10, of said Public Records ;
Lots 6 to 8, inclusive, of Block 74; Lot 6 of Block 48;
Lots 6 to 11, inclusive, of Block 57; and Lots
1 to 3, inclusive, of Block 49; All in Ocean Beach
Addition No. 3, according to Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 2, page 81, of said Public Records;
Lets 1, 2, 16 and 17 of Block 5, and Lots 1, 2,
12 and 13 of Block 6, all in Ocean Beach, Florida,
a subdivision according to Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 2, page 38, of said Public Records.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is
hereby called to be held on the 2nd day of April, A. D. 1947, at
10 :00 o' clock A. M. in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida , for the consideration of said amendments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLV}D, that the City Clerk be and he Is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in
the Evening Sun and Daily Tropics, a newspaper of general circulation
in said City of Miami Beach in conformity with Section 21 of Ordi-
nance No. 289 of said City.
