Resolution 6315 RESOLUTION NO. 6315
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending aid cnanging certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida" as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit:
To amend said Ordinance and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof, so as to exclude from the "BB" Busi-
ness District and to include in the "BC" Business District, as
said Districts are in said Ordinance set forth and defined,
the following described lands situate, lying and being in Miami
Beach, Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
The West Half (W2) of Lots One (1)
to Ton (10) , inclusive, of Block
Sixteen (16) ; the West Half (WQ)
of Lots One (1) to Eight (8), in-
clusive, of Block Fourteen (14) ,
in ISLAND VIEW SUBDIVISION, accord-
ing to the Plat thereof, recorded
in Plat Book 6, at page 115, of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida.
AND
The West Half (W2) of Lots One (1)
to Five (5), inclusive, of Block
Fourteen-A (14-A) of ISLAND VIEW
ADDITION, according to the Plat
thereof, recorded in Plat Book 9,
at page 144, of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is
hereby called to be held on the 18th day of June, A. D. 1947, at
10:00 o'clock A. M. in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days' notice of the
time, place and object of said hearing by publishing notice
thereof in the Evening Sun and Daily Tropics, a newspaper of
general circulation in said City of Miami Beach, Florida, in
conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May, A. D. 1947.
