A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, AUTHORIZING AND
DIRECTING THE CITY ENGINEER TO MAKE APPLICA-
TION TO THE OFFICE OF THE HOUSING EXPEDITOR
OF THE UNITED STATES, FOR AUTHORITY TO CON-
STRUCT A GRANDSTAND IN FLAMINGO PARK.
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That Morris N. Lipp, City Engineer for said City, be and he is
hereby directed and authorized to make application to the Office of
the Housing Expeditor of the United States for authority to construct
a grandstand of structural steel and reinforced concrete in Flamingo
Park in the City of Miami Beach, Florida, and to make such applica-
tion in the name of said City or in his own name as representative
of said City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 21st day of May, A. D. 1947.
