PRODUCTION SPECIFICATIONS,
The history of Miami Beach will be an 8.5 x 11 hard cover and paper cover book
comprised of 288 pages (plus or minus 16 pages) mostly black & white with the last
chapter in full color. Two to three hundred photographs will be featured. The hard
cover version will be case bound, will have a photographic image printed onto the
endsheets, a foil stamping application on the spine and front cover and a glossy
four-color dust jacket. The paper cover will be four-color, film laminated, smyth
sewn and glued to the flush trimmed body. An elaborate limited edition can be
designed with a handsome hardcover incorporating an inset photograph and
embossed leather finish—not calling for a dust jacket. F.O.B. Marceline, MO.

LZIKETING Sz. PROMOTION
Marketing will include a pre-sale campaign to businesses and individuals. Howard
Kleinberg will be available for speaking, media contacts and book signing events.
Book plates, adapted to the sponsor's promotional logo, can be made available for
gift copies at cost.
DISTRIBUTION
The books will be made available to local retailers through the regional distributor
for Centennial Press.

IERMS
40% Deposit ($24,000) required upon acceptance. Proposal made for 60 day
acceptance. Mutually accepted agreements arc considered lawful contracts.
Remaining 60% of contract ($36,000.00) due upon receipt of delivery.
PURLI.CATION RIGHTS
The sponsor grants and assigns to the publisher, Centennial Press, the exclusive
right to print, reprint, publish, reproduce, distribute and sell the work throughout the
United States and all other countrie, in which copyright may be secured during the
full term of the copyright and all rer.zwals thereof.
The sponsor also grants to Centennial Press the right to release a heavily abridged,
tourist-oriented version/inexpensive edition perhaps even as soon as 6 mos. to a year
after the publication of this contracted work.
