HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIA4I BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-317 Forty-third (43rd) Street from Collins Avenue
to a point at or near two hundred forty-eight
(248) feet easterly of Collins Avenue, to be
Paved, and where heretofore Waved to be repaved
to a width of thirty-nine (39 ) feet with a
bituminous wearing surface on a ten (10) inch
rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins, and improved on
both sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street and Avenue are shown on Plats
recorded in Plat Book Five (5), Pages Seven (7)
and Eight (8) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Forty-third (43rd)
Street is named and designated in City of Miami
Beach Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and
estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal ser-
vices, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and
the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
prone rty.
This Improvement shall be designated. in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-317, and. the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be desig-
nated as District H-317.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS__ 28th DAY OF January, A.D.1948.
