'THER EAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Be::.c` ,
• Florida, is considering amending and changing certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of
• the City of Miami Beach, Florida" as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit:
To amend said Ordinance and the maps attached thereto
and made a part thereof, so as to exclude from the "RE" Multiple-
Family District and to include in the "BAAA" Business District,
as said district is set forth and defined in said Ordinance, the
following described land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach,
Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
The following portions of Lots 4, 5 and 6,
in Block 54 of FISHE 'S FIRST SUBDIVISION
of Alton Beach, a subdivision of Dade County,
Florida, according to the Plat thereof, re-
corded in Plat Book 2, at page 77, of the
PublicRecords of Dade County, Florida, to-wit:
For a point of beginning commence on Collins
Avenue where the north line of Lot 6 of said
Block 54 intersects the 'Jest line of Collins
Avenue; thence proceed along the North line
of said Lot 6 a distance of 493.94 feet, more
or less; thence at right angles to the last
mentioned line, proceed Southerly a distance
of 126.8 feet, more or less; thence at right
angles to the last mentioned line, proceed
Easterly a distance of 72. 565 feet more or
less to the West line of Collins Avenue; thence
proceed Northeasterly along the West line of
Collins Avenue a distance of 128.588 feet, more
or less, to the point of beginning.
NO";!, TH .TEFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby
called to be held on the 17th day of March, A. D. 1948, at 10:00
o'clock A. M. in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, Miami Beach,
Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in
the Evening Sun and Daily Tropics, a newspaper of general circulation
in said City of Miami Beach in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance
No. 289 of said City.
