On July 15, 1998 the Chairman and Members of the Board of the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency resolved that an itemized report of the revenues and expenditures of the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency, with respect to each redevelopment area, would be made available to the Chairman and Members of the Board of the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency at the end of each month. As of September 30, 2005, the South Pointe Redevelopment District ceased to be a redevelopment area within the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency's jurisdiction. At that point, the City of Miami Beach assumed the responsibilities for the South Pointe Area. This report will continue to summarize the capital expenditures incurred for the South Pointe construction projects that have been appropriated as of September 30, 2005 and that are being paid from the remaining RDA South Pointe TIF balance. As of September 30, 2005, the South Pointe Redevelopment District ceased to be a redevelopment area within the Miami Beach Redevelopment Agency's jurisdiction. However, this report will continue to summarize the capital expenditures incurred for the South Pointe construction projects that have been appropriated as of September 30, 2005 and that are being paid from the remaining RDA South Pointe TIF balance (pre -termination carry forward balances). On the expenditure side, approximately $115,222,859 has been expended from October 1, 1987 through March 31, 2018. The cash and equivalents balance as of March 31, 2018 is $7,373,139. Beginning in October, 2014 the South Pointe Pre -Termination Financial Information report is presented on an accrual basis of accounting. Previous reports were presented on a cash basis of accounting. Historical Financial Information The summary report included in the attached material, reflects that during the period from October 1, 1993 through March 31, 2018 approximately $1,318,119,786 of revenues were received in the City Center District of the Redevelopment Agency RDA"). Of the $1,318,119,786 revenues received, a total of $351,653,832 was from the issuance of Revenue and Refunding Bonds (Series 2015A and 2015B) on December 15, 2015. On the expenditure side, approximately $1,033,371,085 has been expended from October 1, 1993 through March 31, 2018. Of the $1,033,371,085 expended, a total of $160,434,415 was for expenditures related to RDA Convention Center project, $50,954,074 was payment to escrow for refunding of the outstanding bonds (Series 1998A, 2005A and 2005B) and $4,688,286 was cost of issuance of the bonds series 2015A and 2015B. The cash and equivalents balance as of March 31, 2018 is approximately $303,774,275.
