RESOLUTION NO. 6639
SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
SK-128 SK-128
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter.
SK-128 An eight (8) foot concrete sidewalk adjacent
to the southerly line of Lincoln Road from a
point at or near one hundred ninety (190)
feet easterly of the easterly line of Washington
Avenue to a point at or near two hundred ninety
(290) feet easterly of the easterly line of
Washington Avenue.
As said. Lincoln Road and Washington Avenue are
shown on a plat recorded in Plat Book Two (2),
Page Seventy—seven (77) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said Washington
Avenue is named and designated in City of Miami
Beach Ordinance No. 303.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof; including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedincrs, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other ex—
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-128, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District SK-128.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 1st DAY OF September, A.D. 1948.
