RESOLUTION NO. 6648
HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
H-318 H-318
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-318 Seventy-first (71st) Street from Collins Avenue
to a point at or near one hundred fifty (150)
feet easterly of Collins Avenue to be paved, and
where heretofore paved to be repaved to a width
of thirty-nine (39) feet with a bituminous wearing
surface on a ten (10) inch rock base.
Together with necessary drainage, sewer inlets,
manholes and catch basins, and improved on both
sides with a concrete curb and gutter.
As said Street and Avehue are shown on plats recorded
in Plat Book Twenty-one (21) , Page Fifty-four (54)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,and
as said Street and Avenue are named and designated
in City of Miami Beach Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses ofpreliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specific tions
and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper in conduct-
ing the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated
amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Highway Improvement H-318, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District H-318.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 15th DAY OF September, A.D. 1948.
