Resolution 6654 RESOLUTION NO. 6654
WHEREAS, on the 1st day of September, 19+8 , the City Council of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida, did pass and adopt Resolution No.
6636, calling an election for the purpose of electing a Trustee from
Group 3 of the City of Miami Beach Employees' Retirement System, said
election to be held on Tuesday, September 21, 19+8; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has been advised that the holding of
said election at the time and place provided for in Resolution No.
6636 was made impossible by reason of the recent hurricane , which
occurred on the date set for said election; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary and desirable that a new date be set
for the holding of such election;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that Resolution No. 6636 be and the same is
hereby confirmed in all respects, except as to the time and date of
said election; that the time and date of said election be fixed at
between the hours of 9:00 A.M. and 6:00 P.M. on the 12th day of
October, 19+8.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of October, A. D. 1948.
