Resolution 6692 RESOLUTION NO. 6692
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida, is considering amending and changing certain of the
regulations and restrictions established and contained in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida" , as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit:
To amend said ordinance and the maps attached thereto and
made a part thereof, so as to define self-service laundries and
pressing clubs, and so as to permit the use of buildings or land
in "BA" Business District and in "BB" Business District, for
self-service laundries under certain conditions and restrictions,
and so as to permit the use of buildings or land in "BC" Business
District for self-service laundries without such conditions and
restrictions, and so as to permit the use of buildings or land in
"BC" Business District for laundries, drycleaning plants and dyeing
establishments .
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT R sSOLVh.D by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby
called to be held on the 24th day of December, A. D. 1948,
at 10:00 o'clock A. M. , in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall,
Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directed to give at least fifteen days' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in the
Miami Beach, Florida, Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said
City of Miami Beach, in conformity with Section 2.1 of Ordinance No.
289 of said City.
