RESOLUTION NO. 6442
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA, that the City Manager be and he is
hereby authorized and directed to employ, on behalf of and
in the name of the City of Miami Beach, Florida, Attorney
1 G. Ward, to represent said City, in association with the
City Attorney, in that certain suit now rending in the Cir-
cuit Court of Dade County, Florida, entitled "Florence P.
Jowett, et al versus City of Miami Beach" .
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Manager be and
he is hereby authorized to pay to said Attorney W. G. Ward
the sum of Twenty-five Hundred C2, 500.O0) Dollars for
said services, out of funds of said City available for such
purpose.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of January, A. D. 1948.
