Resolution 6446 RESOLUTION NO. 6446
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of ;Miami Leach,
Florida , is considering amending and changing certainof the
regulations and restrictions established andcontained in
Ordinance No. 289, commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of
the City of Miami Beach, Florida", as hereinafter set forth,
to-wit :
To amend that portion of Section 1 of said Ordinance reading
as follows :
"GARAGE, STORAGE: Any premises , except those
described as a private garage , usedfor the
storage only of automotive vehicles , or where
any such vehicles are kept for remuneration,
hire , or sale."
so as to read as follows:
"GARAGE, STORAGE : Any buildin;= , except those
described as a private garage, used for the
storage only of automotive vehicles , or where
any such vehicles are kept for remuneration,
hire or sale .
AND to amendthat portion of Section 9 of said Ordinance ,
by eliminating and deleting therefrom, the following:
"3. Automobile storage , sale or "Cars for
Hire" Lots. "
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida , that a public hearing, be and is
hereby called to be held on the twenty-eighth day of January, A.D.
1948, at 10:00 o 'clock A. Y . in the Council Chambers, in the City
Hall, Miami Beach, Florida, for the consideration of said amend-
ments.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Clerk be and he is
hereby directedto give at least fifteen days ' notice of the time,
place and object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in
the Evening Sun and Daily Tropics , a newspaper of general circu-
lation in said City of Miami Beach in conformity with Section 21
of Ordinance No. 289 of said. City.
PASSED and ADOPTED this 7th day of January, A.D. 1948.
