HIGHWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLO 3IDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
H-316 Harding Avenue from Seventy-fifth (75th)
Street to Eighty-seventh (87th) Terrace
to be paved, and where heretofore paved,
to be repaved to a width of thirty-nine
(39) feet with a bituminous wearing sur-
face on a ten (10) inch rock base .
Together with necessary drainage , sewer
inlets, manholes and catch basins, and.
improved on both sides with a concrete
curb and. gutter.
As said Avenue, Street, and Terrace are
shown on Plats recorded in Plat Book Four
(4) , Page One hundred sixty-two (162 ) ,
Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41) ,
Plat Book Forty-one (41) , Page Two (2) ,
Plat Book Forty-four (44) , Page Twenty-
five (25) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida ; and as said Harding Ave-
nue is described. in Deeds recorded in Deed
Look 2445, Pages One hundred. ninety-eight
(198) and Two hundred one (201) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida ;
and as said Avenue , Street, and Terrace
are named and designated in City of Miami
Beach Ordinances No. 232 and No . 359.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of preliminary and other surveys , the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and esti-
mates, the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds , interest during construction , legal ser-
vices , abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary and proper
in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the
estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting
property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as highway Improvement H-316 , and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District H-316 .
