BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF IIA&'.I BEACH, FLORIDA.:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
WW-34 Both sides of Drexel Avenue from Twelfth (12th)
Street to Lincoln Road ; Pennsylvania Avenue from
Seventh (7th) Street to Lincoln Road; Euclid Ave-.
nue from Fifth (5th) Street to Lincoln Road ; Jef-
ferson Avenue from Fifth (5th) Street to Eleventh
(11th) Street and from Fifteenth (15th) Street to
Lincoln Road; Michigan Avenue from Fifth (5th)
Street to Eleventh (11th) Street and. from Fifteenth
(15th) Street to Lincoln Road; and Lenox Avenue
from Fifteenth (15th) Street to Lincoln Road.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
two hundred (200) feet apart on each side with
underground connections for lighting.
As said Avenues, Streets, and Road are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat book Two (2 ) , Page Eighty-
one (81) ; Flat hook Four(4) , Page One hundred
Twenty-two (122) ; Plat Hook,Six (6) , Pages Five
(5) , Seventeen (17) , Thirty-three (33) , Thirty-
four (34) , and Eighty-three (83) ; Flat book
Seven (7) , Page Fifteen (15) ; Plat Book Nine (9) ,
Pages Sixty-nine (69) , Seventy (70) , and One Hun-
dred Forty-seven (147; Plat rook Twenty-one
(21) , Page Twenty-six (26 ) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida, and as said Avenues are
named and designated. in City of Miami Beach Or-
dinance No. 2324.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and. Specifications of said improvement and an es-
timate of the cost thereof , including an estimate of the cost of the
expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and super-
intendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications
and estimates , the printing and publication of notices and proceedings,
the preparation of bonds , interest during construction, legal services ,
abstracts , etc . , and any other expenses necessary and proper in con-
ducting the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estim-
ated amount to be assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement VJW-34, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District Wv4-34.
