Resolution 6713 RESOLUTION NO. 6713
WHEREAS, the United States of America, acting by and through
the War Assets Administrator, has delivered to the City of Miami
Beach a duly executed quit-claim deed conveying to said City the
Nautilus Veterans Administration Hospital property, Miami Beach,
Florida, and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
is familiar with the terms and conditions of said quit-claim deed,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVM by the City Council of the
City of Miami Beach, Florida, that the Mayor be and he is hereby
authorized and directed to accept the said deed and to agree to
the terms and conditions thereof for and on behalf of said City.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the payment heretofore made by
the City Manager and the City Clerk to the Treasurer of the United
States of the sum of X9,407.42 out of funds of the City of Miami
Beach, which is the amount of external administrative expenses in-
curred by the War Assets Administration because of the transfer of
the property, be and the same is hereby ratified and confirmed.
