BE IT RFSOLVEP Py THE CITY COUITCIL OF r"T?E CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA: '
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby settinc forth
its intention to :,roceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on both sides
of Thirty-eight (38th) Street from anoint
at or near the easterly line of Collins Avenue
to a point at or near two hundred fifty ( 250)
feet easterly of Collins Avenue .
As said Street and Avenue are shown on plats
recorded in Plat Book Five (5 ) , Pages Seven (7)
and Eight (8) of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida, and as said Thirty-eighth(38th)
Street is named and designated in City of Miami
Beach Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, plans and specifications of'' said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof; including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintn aence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein -provided for;
and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot of
abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-131, and the propety against
which assessments therefor -lay be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District SK-131.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th __DAY OFlJanuary, __A.D. 1949.
