BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement
is hereby ordered to be made ; the Cit;, Council hereby setting
forth its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of
the City Charter:
°9'1-41 Both sides of Seventy-first (71st)Street
from Indian Creek to Collins Avenue, and both
sides of Everglades Concourse from Rue Notre
Dame to Indian Creek.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lames at approximately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Rue, Concourse, Street, Avenue and Creek
are shown on plats recorded in Plat Book Twenty-one
( 21), Page Fifty-four (54) ; Plat Book Twenty-five
(?5 ) , Page Sixty (60) of the Public Records of
Dade County, Florida, andas said Concourse is
named and designated in Ordinance No. 538.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and -oublication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
end proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all oroceedings,assessments
and bonds as Tthiteway Improvement WW-41, and the -property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as WW-41.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS_ 5th DAY OF January, A.D. 1949.
