BE IT HESOLVi J) BY THE CITY COUNCIL 02 THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-42 Both sides of Collins Avenue from Biscayne
Street to Fifth (5th) Street.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on Plat
recorded in Flat Book Two (2) , Page Thirty-eight
(38) of the Public Records of Dade County, Flor-
ida; and as said Avenue and Biscayne Street are
named and designated in City ofiami Leach Or-
dinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifi-
cations and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front foot
of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement vy;Wu-42, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost there-
of shall be designated as WW-42.
