WHITEWAY IMPROVE" NT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 4;0 and 60 of the City
Charter:
WW-44 Both sides of Collins Avenue from Fifteenth
(15th) Street to Twenty-third (23rd) Street.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred fifty (150) feet apart on each
side with underground connections for lighting.
As said Collins Avenue, Fifteenth (15th)
Street and Twenty-third (23rd) Street are
shown on Platsrecorded in PlatBook Two (2) ,
Page Seventy-seven (77) , and Plat Book Five
5) , Pages Seven ( 7) and Eight (8) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Collins Avenue , Fifteenth (15th)
Street, and Twenty-third (23/d) Street are
named and designated in City of Miami Beach
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed. to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and specifica-
tions and estimates, the printing and publicanion of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and tie estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-44, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as WW-44.
