BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LAIZ BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered
to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed
under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
WW 48 Both sides of Seventeenth (17th) Street from
Washington Avenue to Collins Avenue.
To be improved with a wh.iteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred fifty (150) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Seventeenth (17th) Street, Washington
Avenue and Collins Avenue are shown on plat
recorded in Plat Book Two (2), Page Seventy-
seven (77) of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and as said Seventeenth (17th) Street,
Washington Avenue and Collins Avenue are named
and designated in City of Niami Beach Ordinances
Nos. 232 and 303.
The- City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk
Plans and Specifications of said Improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof,
including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other sur-
veys, the inspection and superintendence of the cork, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal services,
abstracts, etc., and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the
proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds
as Whiteway Improvement WW--)8, and the property against which assessments there-
for may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District WW-48.
