RESOLUTION NO. 6729
WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
W-49 AWN-49
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following describedimprovement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
WW-49 Everglades Concourse from lue Notre Dame to
North Day Causeway approach, and North Bay
Causeway approach.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at aporoxiaately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Everglades Concourse, Rue Notre Dame and
North Bay Causeway approach Xformerly 79th Street
Causeway approach) are shown on plats recorded in
Plat book Twenty-five (25) , Pages Fifty-six (56)
and Sixty (60) , and Plat book Thirty-four (34) ,
Pages Sixty-three (63) and Eighty (80) , of the
Public Records of Dade County, .Florida and as
said Everglades Concourse is named and designated
in City of Miami beach Ordinance No. 538.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence
of the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates,
the printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation
of bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. ,
andany other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceed-
ings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-49, andthe property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be
designated as District WW-49.
