BE IT RESOLVED BY TIDE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MCAD: BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby ordered
to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention to proceed under
Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
Both sides of Collins Avenue from Seventy-
fifth
eventyfifth (75th) Street to Eighty-seventh (87th)
Terrace.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred seventy (170) feet apart on each
side with underground connections for lighting.
As said Collins Avenue, Seventy-fifth (75th)
Street and Eighty-seventh (87th) Terrace are
shown on plats recorded in Plat Book Thirty-
one (31), Page Forty (40) and. Plat Book Four
(4), Page One Hundred Sixty-two (162) of the
Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Seventy-fifth (75th) Street is named
and designated in City of Miami Beach Ordinance
No. 232, and as said Eighty-seventh (87) Ter-
race is named and designated in City of Miami
Beach Ordinance No. 359.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the City Clerk
plans and specifications of said improvement and an estimate of the cost thereof,
including an estimate of the cost of the expenses of preliminary and other sur-
veys, the inspection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices and
proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction, legal ser-
vices, abstracts, etc., and any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting
the proceedings and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each front foot of abutting property.
This improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and bonds as
`Jhiteway Improvement WW-50, and the property against which assessments therefor
may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated as District ',:W-50.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 5th DAY OF January, A. D. 1949.
