WHIT EWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT WW-57
WW-57
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH, FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is hereby
ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth its intention
to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City Charter:
WW-57 Both sides of Alton Road from Nineteenth ( 19th) Street
to Sixty-third (63rd) Street and Sixty-third (63rd) Street
from Alton Road to Indian Creek Drive.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system of ornamental
posts and lamps at approximately two hundred (200) feet
apart on each side with underground connections for
lighting.
As said streets and Road are shown on Plats recorded
in Plat Book Forty (40), Page Twelve ( 12) , Plat Book
Nine ( 9) , Page One hundred forty-five ( 145) , Plat Book
Eight (8) , Page Fifty-two ( 52) , Plat Book Forty (40) ,
Page Sixty-nine (69) , Plat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Nine
(9) , Plat Book Thirty-four (34) , Page Ninety-two (92) ,
Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Ninety-five (95) , Plat Book
Thirty-five (35) , Page Forty-six (46) , Plat Book Thirty-
nine (39) , Page Eight (8) , Plat Book Thirty-four (34) ,
Page Forty-seven (47) , Plat Book Eight (8) , Page One
hundred thirty ( 130) , Plat Book -Fourteen ( 14) , Page
Forty-two (42) and Page Forty-three (43) , Plat Book Sixteen
(16) , Page Ten (10) , Plat Book Thirty-one (31) , Page Seventy-
five (75) , Plat Book Twenty-eight ( 28) , Page Twenty-eight
( 28) , of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida, and
as said Sixty-third (63rd) Street is named and designated
in City of Miami Beach Ordinance No. 303, and as said
Indian Creek Drive is named and designated in City of
Miami Beach Ordinance No. 495.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and Specifications of said improvement and an estimate
of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of the expenses
of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and superintendence of
the work, the preparation of plans and specifications and estimates, the
printing and publication of notices and proceedings, the preparation of
bonds, interest during construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and
any other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and
work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against
each front foot of abutting property .
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments and
bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-57, and the property against which
assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall be designated
as District WW-57.
