WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT
WW-71 WW-71
BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CIT'' OF MIAMI BEACH
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-71 Both sides of Meridian Avenue from Lincoln Road
to Collins Canal .
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred. sixty ( 160) feet apart on each
side with underground connections for lighting.
As said Meridian Avenue, Lincoln Road and. Collins
Canal are shown on olat recorded In Plat Book
Six ( 6) , Page Twenty-six (26) of the Public Records
of Dade County, Florida.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with the
City Clerk, Plans and. Specifications of said improvement and an
estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost of
the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection and
superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and puolication of notices and
oroceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during construction,
legal services, abstracts, etc . , and any other expenses necessary
and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein provided
for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each front
foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as `:'hiteway Improvement WW-71, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-71.
