WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THF CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
heteby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-77 Both sides of Meridian Avenue from Fifth
( 5th) Street to Lincoln Road.
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
one hundred sixty (160) feet apart on each side
with underground connections for lighting.
As said Avenue , Street and Road are shown on
Plats recorded in Plat Book Two (2) , Page
Eighty-one (81) , Plat Book Six (6) , Page
Thirty-three (33) , and Plat Pook Nine (9) ,
Pages Sixty-nine (69) , Seventy ( 70) and One
Hundred. Forty-seven ( 147) of the Public Re-
cords of Dade County, Florida., and as said
Meridian Avenue is named and designated in
City of Miami Beach Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk, Plans and. Specifica.tidins of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and speci-
fications and estimates, the printing and publication of notices
and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during con-
struction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other expenses
necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work herein
provided. for; and the estimated amount to be assessed against each
front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assessments
and bonds as whiteway Improvement WW-7?, and the property against
which assessments therefor may be made for the cost thereof shall
be designated as District WW-77.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 20th DAY OF April A.D. 1949
