WHITEWAY IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following. described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made ; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
WW-82 Both sides of Collins Avenue from Forty-fourth
( 44th) Street to Sixty-third ( 63rd) Street
To be improved with a whiteway lighting system
of ornamental posts and lamps at approximately
two hundred (200) feet apart on each side with
underground connections for lighting.
As said Avenue and Streets are shown on plats
recorded in Plat Rook Eight (8) Page Sixty-one
(61) , Plat Book Nine (9) page Seventy-eight
(78) , Plat Book Twenty-eight (28) Page Twenty-
eight (28) , Plat Book Forty (40) Page Fourteen
( 14) , Plat Book Tventy-eight ( 28) Page Sixteen
(16) , and plat Rook Forty (40) Page Five (5) ,
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Forty-fourth (44th) Street is named
and designated in City of Miami Beach Ordinance
N o. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk,Plans and Specifications of said improvement and
an estimate of the cost thereof, including an estimate of the cost
of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the inspection
and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans and
specifications and estimates, the printing and publication of
notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest during
construction, legal services, abstracts, etc. , and any other ex-
penses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings and work
herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be assessed
against each front foot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Whiteway Improvement WW-82, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost there-
of shall be designated as District Ww...82.
