Resolution 6929 RESOLUTION NO. 6929
WHEREAS the City Council of the City of Miami Beach, Florida,
is considering amending and changing certain of the regulations
and restrictions established and contained in Ordinance No. 289,
commonly known as the "Zoning Ordinance of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida" as hereinafter set forth, to-wit:
To amend said Ordinance and the maps attached thereto and made
a part thereof, so as to include in "BA" Business District as said
district is set forth and defined in said Ordinance, the following
described land situate, lying and being in Miami Beach, Dade County,
Florida, to-wit:

All of HARRISON AND HAYES SUBDIVISION,
as recorded in Plat Book 9, at page 73,
of the Public Records of Dade County,
Florida, and all of the land lying easterly
thereof eastwardly to but not beyond a
line parallel to and seventy-five (75) feet
west of the harbor line established by
ordinance No. 856 of the City of Miami Beach,
Florida;
AND ALSO
That certain parcel of land adjoining the
said Harrison and Hayes Subdivision on the
north; bounded on the west by the easterly
line of lots 1 and 2 of Block 77 of Fisher' s
First Subdivision of Alton Beach, according
to the Plat thereof, recorded in Plat Book 2,
at page 77, of the Public Records of Dade
County, Florida; bounded on the north by the
south line of Fifteenth Street as shown on
said plat and said south line extended east-
wardly; bounded on the east by a line parallel
to and seventy-five (75) feet westwardly from
the harbor line established by Ordinance No. 856
of the City of Miami Beach, Florida.
NOW, THEAEFO:RE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that a public hearing be and is hereby called
to be held on the 10th day of June, A. D. 1949, at 10:00 o'clock
A.M. in the Council Chambers, in the City Hall, Miami Beach, Florida,
for the consideration of said amendment.
BE IT FURTHERRESOLVED that the City Clerk be and he is hereby
directed to give at least fifteen days ' notice of the time, place and
object of said hearing by publishing notice thereof in the Miami Beach
Florida Sun, a newspaper of general circulation in said City of Miami
Beach in conformity with Section 21 of Ordinance No. 289 of said City.
