Resolution 6947 RESOLUTION NO. 6947
HONORING HERBERT A. FRINK
WHEREAS, our friend and colleague, Herbert A. Frink, has served
his City faithfully and with distinction for a period of ten years
from July 1939 until June 1949, which term included the war and post
war period with its many and varied problems which made unusual demand
on his time; and
WHEREAS, he not only served as a fellow Councilman but as Mayor
and Chairman of this Body for a period of two years from June 1945
until June 1947, during which time he gave unstintingly of his time
and energy, making friends and moulding good will for his City; and
WHEREAS, he was conscientious in his attendance at Council ses-
sions and diligent in the pursuit of all of his City assignments and
functions, lending able help and wise counsel due to his varied busi-
ness experience and training.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Miami Beach, Florida, that we do hereby go on record as according
Herbert A. Frink our thanks and appreciation for a job well done and
we further express herewith our sincere regret at the termination of
our long and pleasant association; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that this resolution be spread upon the
records in the customary manner and that a suitably engrossed original
be presented to Herbert A. Frink.
