SIDEWALK IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT

BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF MIAMI BEACH,
FLORIDA:
That the construction of the following described improvement is
hereby ordered to be made; the City Council hereby setting forth
its intention to proceed under Sections 29 and 30 of the City
Charter:
SK-138 A five (5) foot concrete sidewalk on the west
aide of Dickens Avenue from a point at or near
the Northerly line of Seventy-sixth (76th) Street
to a point at or near the Southerly line of
Seventy-seventh (77th) Street.
As said Dickens Avenue, Seventy-sixth (76th)
Street and Seventy-seventh (77th) Street are
shown on Plat of Altos del Mar No. 3 recorded
in Plat Book Eight (8) , Page Forty-one (41)
of the Public Records of Dade County, Florida,
and as said Dickens Avenue, Seventy-sixth (76th)
Street and Seventy-seventh (77th) Street are
named and designated in City of Miami Beach
Ordinance No. 232.
The City Engineer is hereby directed to prepare and to file with
the City Clerk plans and specifications of saidimprovement and
an estimate of the cost thereof; including an estimate of the
cost of the expenses of preliminary and other surveys, the in-
spection and superintendence of the work, the preparation of plans
and specifications and estimates, the printing and publication
of notices and proceedings, the preparation of bonds, interest
during construction, legal services, abstracts. , etc. , and any
other expenses necessary and proper in conducting the proceedings
and work herein provided for; and the estimated amount to be
assessed against each frontfoot of abutting property.
This Improvement shall be designated in all proceedings, assess-
ments and bonds as Sidewalk Improvement SK-138, and the property
against which assessments therefor may be made for the cost there-
of shall be designated as District SK-138.
PASSED AND ADOPTED THIS 26th DAY OF October, A. D. 1949.
